Adult Education

The purpose of Adult Education is to provide the Emmanuel congregation with a wide variety of educational opportunities.

Wednesday Bible Study - Noon on Zoom

In the manner of Jesus' own small group of disciples, this group offers a place to connect with other believers in fellowship, to grow in our understanding of the Bible, and to worship God together.

Men's Group - (Currently on hold.)

2nd & 4th Thursday, 6:30pm in the Church Library

All men in the Rockford area are invited to come together for brotherhood, emotional and Spiritual support as well as opportunities for fellowship. Group activities may include films, dinner, discussion, and outings.

WELCA (Women of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America)

3rd Thursdays, 9:30am in the Celebration Room, September - June

As a community of women supporting one another, WELCA members are:

• called to discipleship in Jesus Christ

• empowered by the Holy Spirit

• committed to spiritual growth through prayer and Bible study

• engaged in ministry and action to promote healing and wholeness in the world

WELCA participants serve at funeral receptions and special events, and also assist P. A. Peterson in April with a resident birthday party.
