Blessing of the Garden
The Emmanuel Lutheran Church Community Garden, located on the 2nd Avenue side of the parking lot, will be blessed by Pastor TroyAnn during the 10:30am service on Sunday, August 28th. The garden is in memory of Anna Marie and Roy Johnson, past members. The 4 raised beds were an Eagle Scout Project completed by Samuel Parker Gustafson and the boy scouts of Troop 57. The entire project was financed by Roycealee Wood, daughter of the Johnson's and a members of Emmanuel Lutheran Church. A big THANK YOU to church members who have helped with watering and wedding the garden.
